Luciano Teodora Brash, Jr., was born in 1977, in Garden City, Michigan, to Tong and Luciano Brash. His mother was Korean and his father was Italian. His family knew him as Luci, while his friends knew him as Luciano or Lucky. Luciano was raised with his younger brother, Louie. He had a good childhood in Michigan. He enjoyed the companionship of pets as he had dogs and cats. He was a very happy, active child. He loved the food his mother would cook including Korean barbeque and Italian spaghetti. He was so very proud of his heritage. The hardest part of his life came with the early death of his father, Luciano. It was a difficult time for the family. Losing his father truly broke his heart. But, the family remained close, supporting each other. Through it all, Luciano was a wonderful son who loved his mother very much.

The family moved to California as Tong supported her two sons as a single mother. Luciano and Louie were truly best friends. They were also tough kids, who enjoyed playing around together. From an early age, Luciano learned to speak a lot of Korean and he was always proud of his history. While attending John Burroughs High School, Luciano made many friends. He enjoyed spending time with his friends, playing rap music or video games. Luciano had so many dreams in life. He dreamed of being an actor and a singer. He was a smart young man in a complicated world, looking for acceptance. He always tried to do the right thing and sought opportunities to further his career. At home, he was very nice and respectful of his mother and always thought about other people. If neighbors were carrying things, he went to help. If he saw a car broken down by the side of the road, he willingly stopped to lend a helping hand. Luciano had a nice personality and people liked being around him. He loved music. So much so, he embarked on making music connections by working as a street promoter, handing out T-shirts and posters in promotion. He worked for a lot of different artists, including Snoop Dogg, D.J. Quig, Sugar Free, J. Wells, Mike Jones, E-40, and Lil Jon and the East Side Boyz. He worked on promotions for films such as Nacho Libre and Jet Li's Fearless. He attended record release parties helping with promotions. He was also a member of the group Filthy Rich. As an amateur rapper, he dreamed of opportunities and a future in the music industry.

Most recently, he shared an apartment with his mother. If he didn't stay at the apartment, he liked spending time with friends. He dreamed of becoming a car salesman or a computer professional so he could support his mother and have a family one day. He dreamed of providing for his mother so she wouldn't have to work anymore. He wanted to protect her and take care of her. In his personal life, he always told his mother those three important words, "I love you." If he wasn't at home, he called her regularly to talk to her. They had a special bond, mother and son. Family was also a priority as he often asked about his uncles and cousins.

Throughout his life, Luciano had many favorites. He really enjoyed cars and motorcycles, as he knew so much about them. He also had a great knowledge of computers and the technical aspects of computer programs and the advanced technology used in cars. He liked listening to rap music and he enjoyed playing video games. He knew everything about using computers and had a natural talent for programming. His favorite video games were Medal of Honor, Modern Weapons and Halo 3. When he was younger, he always loved to drink his milk. As he grew older, his favorite drink was orange juice. He enjoyed both Korean and Italian food. His favorite clothes were blue shirts or white shirts and black pants. He always had Christian beliefs in God and heaven.

Luciano Brash will best be remembered as a caring, helpful young man. His friends say if you were stranded in Barstow while driving home from Las Vegas, he was the kind of person who would drive to Barstow without hesitation and pick you up. If you were out of gas, he filled your gas tank if he could. He was happiest when he was helping others. A loyal and stoic friend, Luciano gave his friends 100% support as they pursued their own dreams. He was always at his best when he was smiling. Over the years, he willingly helped his family, friends and neighbors. Luciano was a happy person and everybody loved him. His mother will miss his presence every day. He used to call his mother often and say, "It's me… I love you." She will miss her son forever. As Luciano will be cremated, his mother plans to keep half of his ashes and scatter the rest at sea. His family believes one day they will be reunited…

Luciano Brash was preceded in death by his father, Luciano. He is remembered by his mother, Tong; brother Louie; good friends Michael, Joe, Jason, Mark and many other friends.

May he rest in peace…
