Just to let you know that I lost the best friend I ever had in my life from "Southie".

Nick Natale passed away on Sunday March 30th, 2008. I was very fortunate to have him as a friend and I know that many of you knew him very well. We go way back to our teen years when he was Mercer and I was with the Wildcats. We supported each other in the most critical times of our lives with the deaths of our mothers, and other members of our families, divorces, and many other life’s critical situations thrust upon most humans. We could share our inner most secrets and know that neither one of us would ever reveal them to anyone in the universe. I have been crying a lot the past few days for myself but I know he is better off as he was suffering a lot these past few years in and out of hospitals. We had our moments when we wanted to kill one another but that is part of a really true friendship. Now that he is gone I will cherish the memories of all the good times we shared together both of us with several years in AA (Alcoholics’ Anonymous) and he died sober as he wanted to. We laughed, we cried, we suffered and we spent many many hours on the phone ending up laughing at our troubles.

We both had the same philosophy, live in today because one day you will be dead forever, so live and enjoy life while you have a chance. Nick knew how to enjoy life and made the most of it.

"A true friend is one who knows all about you and still loves you"

I will miss you Nick.
