Alfred was born in El Paso, Texas. He learned Spanish at a young age and grew up in a close knit family. He always liked to follow rules, which set him on a path to a good, honest, moral life. At 10, he moved to Los Angeles with his family. He loved building model airplanes and showed a talent for understanding the architecture of the building process. At the age of 16, he met the love of his life, Blanche. Alfred graduated from Lincoln High School, but soon after graduation, he was drafted into the Army at the age of 19 in 1943. He was transferred into combat infantry during World War II but always made the time to write to Blanche. The young couple was married in 1944. By the time he finished his service in 1946, Alfred rose to the rank of Sergeant in three years. The couple went on to have two children, Patrick and Candace, whom they loved very much. We remember that he would entertain kids with imitations of Flip Wilson's character Geraldine. He will be remembered for his love of Mexican food and his love of music. Alfred Aguirre worked hard to build a business and always went far beyond for his customers. We remember the partnership he shared with his wife and we remember that he lived his life honorably. As he was preceded in death by his son, we know father and son were reuinted again. Both Alfred and Patrick will always be remembered...
