	Celebrating Life Everyone Has A Story...

Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Barbara was the fifth of six children. She attended catholic school and church seven days a week. She even sang in the school choir. Later, she worked as a candy striper, caring for newborns. In 1953, she moved to California and worked as a lingerie fit model in Hollywood. She married and had three devoted children: Dale, Linda, and Gary. She and her husband started a mechanics business in Glendale, but her priority was always her children. She was a wonderful seamstress and an amazing entertainer to friends and family. She always made sure everyone had enough to eat whether they were family, friends, or visitors. She gave from the heart. Everyone was welcome at her house. Professionally, she went on to become a tax consultant and accountant. Later, she remarried. She was so proud of her children and grandchildren over the years. In 1994, she met the love of her life, Don. They spent time traveling and loved sharing their lives together. In 1995, Barbara started the firm, Russell Shartsis & Associates with her son Dale in Glendale. Barbara was loved by all of her clients, friends, and family. She said, "I love you," a million times and she meant it every single time. If you hung around long enough, you were part of the family. She was realistic and optimistic, realizing early on that life is a journey. She will be remembered as a friend to all... Hubba-hubba mom, drive safely...
