Celebrating Life Everyone Has A Story... |
Journal | Press | New Profession | Blog |
Georgia was born in Pennsylvania to Bill and Ethel Glogosh. When she was 2 years old, the family moved to the Venice Canal area of Los Angeles. She was close with all of her siblings, fishing in the canal, swimming in the canal, and spending time at the ocean. When she was 5 years old, she fell down an abandoned well. She was rescued by a neighbor with ropes and hoisted to safety. The family believes she had a guardian angel watching over her that day and for many days to come. When Georgia was 13, her mother unexpectedly died and it was very difficult for her. Georgia went on to find herself. She always loved the music of Elvis and Neil Diamond. She married Joey, a man she knew since elementary school. Together, they had two wonderful daughters. Georgia always encouraged the kids to have pets and took in many rescue animals over the years. Georgia also gave to those who were down on their luck. She would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it. She was a rescuer of others in so many ways. Georgia will be remembered as a wonderful daughter, loving mother, and a grandmother who could make you smile. Georgia was colorful and loving. With Georgia, you were always home. With her organ donations to others, she gave people the chance at mobility. Giving until the end... |
