At a young age, Mark had a gift for artistic ventures. He would sit and draw for hours. He loved caricatures and cartoons. He was very talented. He was close to his 2 brothers and his parents growing up in Mission Hills. He loved riding bicycle, playing the drums, and listening to rock music. He always had a gift to make other people laugh. He wanted everyone to be happy in life. He married the love of his life, Laura, and they shared 21 wonderful years together. Professionally, Mark worked at both NBC and Disney studios, working hard as a Scenic Artist on so many shows. Mark Elias will be remembered for the love in his heart and his gift of laughter. He looked on the positive side of life even when times were the toughest. Mark will be remembered as loving, funny, and compassionate. A man who always listened to others and gave until the end. Mark believed in heaven and told his family, "One day, I will be waiting for you in the pretty garden…"
