Let us be grateful to People who make us happy. They are the charming gardeners Who make our souls blossom. - Marcel Proust William Abraham Yoder was born in 1981 in Salem, Oregon. He grew up in Canby and was loved by everyone who knew him. When he was 10 years old, he collected match books from around the United States, dreaming of visiting each state one day. Throughout his life, he enjoyed fishing and worked in the fishing industry as well as in construction. Will was the one person who could always make you smile. Will was greatly loved by his family: Sisters Sara and Emily, his brother Isaac, and his parents Chris and Michael. He will be remembered by his entire family and many friends as a kind and generous man. One day, we will see our friend again... Will Yoder: A Poem to Remember by Joyce How can I describe him, That little boy I knew? The babe that we held tightly, And then watched as he grew. When he walked, he would run, When he talked, he would sing, And gifts of dead mice, snakes Or crushed flowers, he'd bring. His heart was generous, His soul was kind. He was full of humor and Quick of mind. When he'd tell of his day Full of missteps and glitches, He kept our attention. He kept us in stitches. His tales would be sprinkled with Hot chicks and fish. No one knew which Was his favorite dish. When we felt sadness, When we knew strife, Will had a gift that brought Joy to our life. He was a remarkable Wonderful boy And each soul who knew him Was touched by that joy. The good deeds he did Are too numerous to list. By all those who loved him, He'll always be missed. |
